Switching from engineering to insurance was a big decision. I had always wanted to try something new, and I saw insurance as an industry that is very important to the global economy and society. In addition, I thought that it would be a great way to develop my career. I spent almost seven years working as a structural engineer, and I was a little worried about changing careers.
