Risk Manager Life

What are your responsibilities?

You contribute to the further development of an adequate risk management system for IBPs in order to identify, measure, monitor, manage and report on potential risks

You implement the risk management system at IBP clients:

You support the client in identifying and defining the risks (risk taxonomy), the risk tolerance limits and the risk appetite (“Risk Appetite”) of the IBP;

You help to organize, supervise and establish procedures and policies

You set up a process for evaluating and prioritizing the identified risks. You support the client in drawing up mitigation strategies and action plans. You follow up on the action plans

You set up appropriate control and reporting procedures to ensure that the information relating to material risks and the effectiveness of the risk management system is actively monitored, analyzed and included in the decision-making process (Risk dashboard).

Based on your findings and input from the other key functions, you draw up the annual Risk Report and the 3-yearly ORA report.

You participate in boards of directors: you ensure that the Board of Directors draws up and approves the risk policy

You advise IBPs in the context of changes that have an increased impact on their risks: splitting of pension funds, change of service provider, ...

You advise IBPs in drawing up stress tests, scenario tests and ALM exercises

Who are you?

You are an expert in the field of integral risk management.

You are able to provide direction.

You have a high sense of responsibility and are able to tackle assignments independently. Organizational skills and setting priorities are important for this.

You have a pragmatic view of integral risk management and demonstrable experience in setting up and improving risk management in organizations or projects and tooling.

Current knowledge of ERM standards such as COSO, ISO31000 and other laws and regulations, relevant guidelines, etc. are a plus.

You are socially skilled and a team player and can make good connections between different departments.

You have a strong analytical mind and can think abstractly.

As a "consultant" you can build a relationship of trust with the client.

You have a good knowledge of both national languages ​​and English.
